New Winter Hours for Farmers’ Market

One of my favorite Saturday activities over the last year or two is shopping for fresh produce at the Farmers’ Market in downtown Harrisonburg. I have a lot of friends who frequent the market, so it is also a great way to connect (somewhat randomly) more often. But in years past the fun has ended with the cold weather.

Not so this year. The market now has winter hours: the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 9 am to noon. (Regular hours resume in April.)

What can you find at the market in the winter? …

Shop the Holiday and Winter Markets for delicious baked goods, meats, soups, select winter produce and greenhouse lettuces and more. You can also expect to find fresh Holiday greenery and a much wider variety of craft items.
