The “Skinny” on Kline May Home Voice Numbers

December 30th, 2008 by Lisa Oates · No Comments

If you’ve passed by any Kline May Realty listings, you’ve likely seen a separate sign in the yard with a phone number on it called a “Home Voice Number.” It can be a great tool for sellers.

With each listing, the listing agent can opt in to have a Home Voice Number set up for that particular listing. The agent receives a special sign for the yard, and records a short description of the property (typically with details of the inside of the house, because the person calling is usually standing in front of the house and can see what the outside looks like).

At any time during the phone call, the user has the option to “press 2″ to contact the listing agent on the spot. At the end of the recording, the caller also has the option to contact a mortgage broker directly by “pressing 3.”

Sellers, this can be beneficial to you because it is a unique marketing technique. Someone sees your house, likes the look of the outside, decides to call the number on your personal Home Voice sign, and can talk to your listing agent or a mortgage broker on the spot. Even if the caller chooses not to contact your agent or a loan officer, the phone number gets sent to your listing agent by email, so the agent can follow up at any time to answer any questions the caller may have about your property.
