Federal Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency

January 8th, 2009 by Lisa Oates · No Comments

Heard of the “Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008?” This bill was signed into law by President Bush in October. It extends tax credits for energy efficient home improvements made in 2009. This would include things like new energy efficient windows, doors, roofs, insulation, and so on. To read more about this Act and to make sure your home improvements can attain a tax credit this year, check out the Energy Star website. It also lists tax credits for home builders and commercial buildings.
