New International Cuisine in Harrisonburg: Beyond

Downtown Harrisonburg will soon have a new restaurant.  It will be called Beyond, and will feature international cuisine. The proprietors will be the same folks who own and operate the highly popular Taste of Thai on South High Street. The location? The old Spanky’s building at 50 West Water Street. The building will undergo a complete interior renovation to prepare for the lunch and dinner crowds. The new face lift will accommodate several bars (including a sushi bar), two levels of dining, and outdoor seating that will overlook Blacks Run. The second level will be able to accommodate private parties of up to 100 people. For more information, check out this post on the “Ask Eddie” blog.

My family and I were not impressed by the new Beyond International Cuisine. We waited 15 minutes to be served, when no one attended to us, we walked out. No person seemed concerned about our leaving and when I wrote a letter of complaint, the Owner/Manager did not reply. So I could not recommend this unprofessional attitude to anyone
