Harrisonburg Neighborhood Tour: Old Town

Old Town is located in the historic district of Harrisonburg, in close proximity to Downtown, Rockingham Memorial Hospital (the existing hospital, not the new one), and James Madison University. Many folks desire to live in Old Town so they can decrease their environmental footprint! Residents of this neighborhood range from college students to local professionals and it is an exciting area of Harrisonburg. This neighborhood is highlighted by wide streets with grand homes built in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Many homes in Old Town have been updated to accommodate for modern living.

Homes in Old Town range in price from around $200,000 - $450,000 and are typically large homes. There are large, mature trees that provide shade for many homes. Another highlight of Old Town is that it is situated on hilly terrain, so some homes in this neighborhood have unbelievable views of Downtown Harrisonburg!
