We recently posted the Quarter 3 (2009) Market Report, which is full of useful information regarding our local real estate market (including surrounding counties). Now, lets go hyper-local. We narrowed down the average and median home sale prices to just Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. The median sold price has only dropped by 1.5% since the end of 2006, and the average sold price has dropped by less than that at 1.3%.
In other parts of the country, and even other parts of Virginia, prices have dropped at a much more significant rate!
