Once Upon A Child is a consignment store for children’s clothes, gear, furniture, toys, books, and other gently used items. Take your gently used (still in good shape) kid’s items and get cash! This store is quite similar to the recently opened Plato’s Closet, and is actually located in the same shopping center — Spotswood Square Shopping Center (by Kroger and TJ Maxx) — on Route 33 East in Harrisonburg. Harrisonburg’s Once Upon A Child is just buying items at the moment, but will be open with regular retail hours in 4 - 6 weeks. So take advantage of spring cleaning time and clean out your kid’s closets, bring the items on over to Once Upon A Child, and get some cash on the spot! (Make sure it is all in good or like-new condition, though!)
