Larkin Arts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: December 11, 2012

Larkin Arts is a new arts center in downtown Harrisonburg that opened in August of this year by husband and wife team Valerie Smith and Scott Whitten. This full scale art center is located on Court Square and provides studios for working artists, classes for all ages, two fine arts galleries, and a storefront retail space selling fine art supplies. With all the highly talented artists in and around Harrisonburg, we’re not surprised this place is already so popular.

To officially meet the owners and welcome Larkin Arts into the community, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on December 11th at 5:00 PM. Head on out to Court Square and enjoy refreshments and tours of the center. Perhaps you’ll also be able to find a gift for that art-lover on your list!
