Harrisonburg Real Estate Market Report: February 2018 [INFOGRAPHIC]

Market Report February 2018 | Harrisonburg Homes Team

The buzzword in 2018 so far has been low inventory. New listings are down from last year by 13%, and when a house hits the market, it doesn’t stay there for long. The average days on market has dropped a drastic 35% – from 131 to 85. Sales have increased by 16% and the average price per square foot continues to improve.

If you’re looking to sell your home in 2018 – this is certainly a seller’s market! As a team, we’ve closed 72 seller transactions in 2017 and are looking forward to a successful and fulfilling 2018. Please, if you have any questions, or are looking to put your house on the market, please contact us!

In 2017 we’ve helped 67 buyers find their home. If you’re interested in starting the home search in 2018, we’d be more than happy to guide you through the ins and outs of purchasing from contract to closing.
