It’s almost summer, folks! Lounging by the pool, vacation, and time with friends and family…we can hardly wait!

Another great way to celebrate the nice weather with friends? Mini-golfing and disc-golfing!

We’ve compiled a list of area courses to go mini and disc golfing – so grab the kids, your favorite visor, and head outside! Let us know what your favorite course is in the comments!

Mini-Golf //

Putter-A-Round Indoor Mini Golf – located in the Cloverleaf Shopping Center in Harrisonburg, this indoor course is year round. An 18 hole course that offers birthday parties, and join in the fun o Thursdays-Saturdays at 8:30pm for Black Light Mini-golf! Mulligan’s Golf Center – located just South of Harrisonburg, this center offers a mini-golf course, driving range, and pro shop. Bridgewater Mini-Golf at Sandy Bottom Park – located in Bridgewater’s Sandy Bottom Park, this is one of the newest courses in the area, having opened in July of 2016. Mini-Golf at Stonewall Terrace – head up to Massanutten Resort for this kid-approved course! For more info check out their website at www.massanuttenvillage.com/wpprod/recreation-center/

 

Disc-Golf //

Disc-golf courses tend to be more casual and are generally found in public parks, and are free to use! Bring your own discs and take as much time as you need!

There are 21 hole courses in the Harrisonburg City parks in Westover and Ramblewood.

Disc-golf is also popular on college campuses, and there are courses on JMU’s University Park (for students, faculty, and staff) and Bridgewater College.
