Save Your Money, Improve Your Credit Score

It is important to have a good credit score and to save money in order to purchase a home — or even just to live comfortably! Here is a fantastic article published by the Washington Post that gives some great tips on how to save money easily this year, and in turn, improve your credit score.

Think drinking a $10 bottle of wine instead of a $25 bottle, or eating dinner at home versus at a restaurant, or making your own coffee at home each morning rather than grabbing a latte on the go. Remember, “every dollar you spend to pay down your charge card or car loan each month is a dollar less that you’ll be able to put toward your monthly mortgage payment” (Washington Post).
