Harrisonburg Neighborhood Tour: Battlefield Estates

Battlefield Estates is a mature neighborhood (with Civil War themed street names like “Confederacy” and “Dixie Ridge Run”), technically located in Penn Laird, off of Route 33 East between Harrisonburg and McGaheysville. It is tucked away from the main drag, and really the only traffic running through the neighborhood is that of visitors or residents. Battlefield Estates features homes built in the mid to late 1990s up to the present day. Most of the homes could be described as “mid-luxury” — ranging from the high $200Ks to the $500Ks. There are some great mountain views from most lots. Some homes are perched on hills while others are situated on flat pieces of land.
