Harrisonburg Real Estate Market Report: October 2018 [INFOGRAPHIC]

We can't believe it's November already - 2018 is starting to wind down! New listings are up by 20% in October as compared to last year. In addition, the year-to-date and rolling month averages for new listings have both increased slightly as compared to last year.  However, we are seeing fewer pending sales (down 5% from last October). The average days on market is continuing to drop by 5% from last October, and 17% year-to-date. Read more...

Harrisonburg Veterans Day Parade with the HHT

The annual Veterans Day celebration in downtown Harrisonburg is always a special treat and an honor to be a part of.  Our Team will be handing out flags along the parade route for the community beginning at 1pm. We will also set out chairs in front of our office at 83 S. Main Street (prime parade watching real estate) and we invite you to come and watch the parade with us starting at 2pm. Harrisonburg Real Estate Market Report: September 2018 [INFOGRAPHIC]

The leaves are starting to change and scarves and jackets are appearing - it must be Fall! New listings and sales have started to slow, but the average price per square foot has shot up by 14% ($133) as compared to last September. The average days on market is continuing to drop by 4% from last September, and 21% year-to-date. The median sales price is on the upswing and comes in at $212,000 (up 8% from $195,500 last year).
