On April 26, 2016, around 100 people gathered on the Court House lawn to witness the unearthing of a 50-year-old piece of history. Stronger Together: Valley Unified Basketball League

Stronger Together! The Valley Unified Basketball League is a new, unique league in the local Valley District. It features players with developmental disabilities. It's the first league of its kind in our area, and was formed in an effort to give these students an experience on the court that would be similar to the atmosphere that varsity teams garner.

Bridgewater Received $944,000 from VDOT to Fund Dry River Road Project

Dry River Road, situated behind Marshall's Distribution Center, Shickel Corporation, and Perdue, connects the Town of Bridgewater with Route 257 heading west of Dayton and into Montezuma. This is a heavily traveled road for folks with a variety of transportation needs: vehicles, big rigs, buggies, tractors, bicyclists, and pedestrians.
