We are excited to welcome photograpers Joe Fitzgerald and AJ Morey to the WDG for the months of August and September! More about their exhibit "Defy the Machine": “Machine” is a complex and versatile term, referring to a calculated assemblage of parts that together transmit force, motion and energy (transportation, factories, technology). Machine is a metaphor describing the way persons or systems work (methodical, relentless, efficient, tireless). Wilson Downtown Gallery: Allen Litten
We are excited to host some of Allen Litten's favorite images in the Wilson Downtown Gallery in June and July! Allen Litten worked as a photojournalist for almost 54 years at the Daily News-Record and currently works as a freelance photographer for the Heritage Museum in Dayton and the Auxiliary Unit of the Harrisonburg Homes Team. Wilson Downtown Gallery: Karen Rosasco
We are excited to welcome Karen Rosasco to the Wilson Downtown Gallery for the months of April and May. She is an award-winning watermedia artist who has been accepted to regional and national juried shows around the United States, Europe, and South America. She previously taught high school art for 30 years and helped students develop portfolios for the top design schools in the nation. She currently teaches private lessons in Waynesboro and leads workshops and "Art Escapes" where she escorts group painting and sketching tours around the world.
